"I became acquainted with Kaley, who also goes by "Mac," in 2018-2019 when she worked at Canine Perfection, Lake Oswego, as a professional groomer. Kaley asked to use one of my Standard Poodles named Sophie for a grooming competition in Tacoma, Washington. To prepare for this competition, Kaley had several grooming sessions with Sophie over several months as she put her into an Historical Continental Cut (HCC) that required Kaley to learn many new grooming skills.
I was impressed with Kaley's attention to detail in learning this new style on Sophie, her care of the Poodle at all times, and her communication with me about her progress. At the show in March, 2019, Kaley did an excellent job of styling and presenting Sophie so that she looked very lovely in her new HCC. To Kaley's credit, she took the time and effort to learn a new and challenging hair style that involved many new scissoring techniques. The mark of a real professional is her desire and follow-through in learning new skills, and Kaley modeled this on Sophie.
On a personal note, I enjoy Kaley's sense of humor, enthusiasm, high energy, and love for all things canine. If I did not do Poodle grooming myself, I would be very confident in taking my Poodles to Kaley for grooming!"

"I was lucky to have Kaley groom my dog a few times. She did a beautiful job and I was so delighted to see my dog look so nice afterwards. She was so friendly, thorough and professional. She actually had to have a little talk with me after I knocked on the mobile grooming van to check on how things were going. She was very tactful in explaining to me that it was dangerous to interrupt as it may startle her or my pet, and could excite my pet to see me! I know it's not fun to have to address these kinds of with customers, but the fact that she cared enough to be forward with me told me she really cared about my pet and the work she was doing. It just made me like her more! I was very sad to hear she left her prior company, and after my last groom with them, I was very unhappy with how it turned out. I got in touch with the owner to track Kaley down to hopefully follow her wherever she was headed to next. So happy I was able to get in touch with her!
